Senior RecruiterLast Energy seeks a Senior Recruiter to lead recruitment efforts for our engineering team. This role will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to support the company's rapid growth. The recruiter will work closely with engineering leadership and the talent team to ensure a smooth, efficient, and high-quality candidate experience.This position is based in Austin and reports directly to the VP of Talent, while working closely with the broader Last Energy team.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical and non-technical roles, from sourcing through offer acceptanceCollaborate with engineering leadership to scope hiring needs and refine job descriptionsActively source high-caliber candidates through LinkedIn, networking, and other creative sourcing methodsScreen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview logistics with hiring teamsMaintain timely and effective communication with candidates, providing a positive and transparent experienceDrive scheduling for interviews, including technical assessments, on-site visits, and follow-upsMaintain and organize candidate pipelines in Last Energy's applicant tracking system (ATS)Provide regular updates and data-driven insights to hiring managers and leadershipContribute to employer branding efforts, including job postings and recruiting materialsPartner with the operations team on logistics for candidate travel, interview days, and recruiting eventsOther duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree preferred5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth, hardware engineering environmentFamiliarity with engineering roles and terminology, particularly in power generation and other relevant hardware fieldsStrong command of ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced, high-stakes environmentHigh attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independentlyPassion for building strong teams and fostering a high-quality candidate experience
