About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of current Telemetry hospital experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Minimum 1-year current Telemetry hospital experience BLS & ACLS Description: We are seeking a Travel Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry. The position involves working on a Surgical/Telemetry Unit. The unit has 37 beds and is staffed by 12 team members. During day shifts, the team consists of 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk. Night shifts also have 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. The patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:6, and 1:4 for Heart Cath patients. Equipment used includes PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes. The Electronic Medical Record system utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include central lines, medication drips, Heart Cath recovery, and bubble studies.
