Chief Operating Officer

Gulfstream Staffing has been retained by a Southern California healthcare company that is experiencing a growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a Chief Operating Officer role in Riverside, CA or Los Angeles, CA.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a key executive leader responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and cross-functional coordination across all aspects of the organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will oversee clinical and administrative operations, ensuring quality, compliance, patient satisfaction, and financial performance while expanding access to care for individuals with limb loss.

Duties:

• Lead day-to-day operations across clinics, rehabilitation centers, and prosthetic service lines
• Implement scalable systems and processes to improve efficiency, outcomes, and care coordination
• Ensure adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations, licensing, and accreditation standards
• Translate the CEO's vision into actionable operational strategies
• Identify and develop new programs, partnerships, and revenue opportunities that align with the organization's mission and growth targets
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and drive data-informed decision-making

Qualifications Preferred:

• CA RN License
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably within a multi-site or integrated care setting
• Deep understanding of healthcare delivery, payer systems, and regulatory compliance
• Demonstrated success scaling organizations or programs in patient-centered care
• Strong background in disability, rehabilitation, orthopedics, prosthetics, or similar clinical areas
• Familiarity with value-based care, trauma-informed care models, or integrated behavioral health
