Staff Accountant

RoseVilla is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant to join our team! The Staff Accountant support the daily financial operations of our community. Reporting to the Controller, this role is responsible for cash management, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, payroll processing, month-end close activities, and regulatory compliance. The Staff Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting operational efficiency and excellent service across the organization. Wage and benefits : Starting wage is $70,000-$79,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, exempt position Choice of medical plans with few out-of-pocket costs Dental, Vision, and life insurance 40 hours of Sick time 15 Days Paid Time Off in your first year PLUS 7 paid holidays Retirement plan with significant employer match Discount at the on-site restaurant – incredible food, including many vegan and gluten-free options Access to the on-site saline pool and fitness facilities Free Parking EV charging stations on-site Education and experience requirements: Required Associate’s degree in accounting or 5+ years’ experience in accounting or related field Knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to pass a criminal background check Preferred: Experience in a CCRC, senior living, healthcare, or long-term care environment Experience with nonprofit accounting and fund accounting practices Experience supporting financial audits and regulatory reporting Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems such as Yardi, and Sage Intacct Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, financial analysis) Learn more about what it’s like to work at RoseVilla here: We are an equal opportunity employer.
