Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Title

Job responsibilities and duties include coordinating production work orders, providing technical advice, communicating effectively with staff and management, and ensuring materials and equipment are available. The role involves being a key contact between production floor activities and various departments, championing lean initiatives, providing training and coaching, ensuring safety policies are communicated and followed, coordinating 5S and good housekeeping practices, ensuring the efficient flow of products, participating in the interviewing and hiring process, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Competencies required include excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, ability to use PC and software packages, ability to meet deadlines, ability to learn new duties, and ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships.

Working conditions are in a factory environment. Supervision is received from the Manufacturing Manager with limited supervision, and the role supervises factory employees in assigned work cells. Other contacts include regular interaction with various departments.

Base pay range is $68,000-$90,000. Compensation is determined based on skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location. Qualifications

Preferred education: Bachelors or better in Management or related field.

Required experience: 3-5 years of progressive experience in factory operations and/or supervision.

Preferred experience: 5 years of progressive lead experience reflecting a strong, ongoing commitment to training and team environment concepts with the ability to meet deadlines.
