Senior Product Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead governance, prioritization, roadmap management, and strategic oversight across the enterprise ServiceNow portfolio. This role will drive adoption of the Digital Product Operating Model (DPOM), ensuring platform investments are aligned to business objectives, measurable outcomes, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the ServiceNow portfolio strategy, roadmap, prioritization framework, and governance processes.

- Lead intake management, backlog governance, release planning, and portfolio decision-making.

- Partner with business leaders, architects, developers, and Product Owners to align strategic priorities and delivery objectives.

- Drive Product Operating Model (DPOM) adoption and help mature product management practices across the organization.

- Facilitate executive-level prioritization discussions and tradeoff decisions across competing initiatives.

- Provide visibility into roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, and value realization.

- Establish standards for backlog health, release readiness, stakeholder engagement, and performance measurement.

- Guide Product Owners while maintaining accountability for portfolio-level strategy, governance, and business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate:

- 12+ years of Product Management, Enterprise Platform, Product Ownership, or Business Systems experience.

- Strong ServiceNow experience preferred, particularly across ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, SecOps, IRM, or related modules.

- Proven experience managing enterprise portfolios, roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, and executive stakeholder relationships.

- Experience with Agile, SAFe, Product Operating Models, and large-scale transformation initiatives.

- Strong communicator capable of driving alignment and influencing decisions across business and technical teams.

- Technical enough to engage with architects and developers, but not expected to be hands-on development or architecture.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience managing enterprise ServiceNow portfolios, products, or platforms.

- Experience with ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, SPM, SecOps, IRM, Employee Experience, or Enterprise Service Management.

- Experience driving Product Operating Model (POM/DPOM) adoption and product management maturity initiatives.

- Strong understanding of portfolio governance, release governance, prioritization frameworks, and roadmap management.

- Experience working in Agile, SAFe, hybrid Agile, and traditional delivery environments.

- Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders and driving decisions in complex matrixed organizations.

- Experience supporting highly regulated enterprise environments.

- Ability to partner effectively with architects and engineering teams and understand technical recommendations without being hands-on technical.

- Experience developing KPIs, OKRs, value realization metrics, and executive-level reporting.

- ServiceNow CSA, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Product Owner, or Product Management certifications are a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leawood, KS.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $82.90/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
