Job Title Night Stocker Department Grocery Additional Considerations Overnight ShiftsMust be 18+. Key Responsibilities Unloads trucks, opens containers, and stocks shelves. Runs overstock on risers, rotates product, and ensures product rotation and rotation practices are followed. Monitors for miss‑picked items, reviews product outs and wrong deliveries. Organizes stock for greatest efficiency and cleans and restocks damaged items. Tags shelves with overstock in the back room and understock drawers. Reports new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input. Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, showing caring, concern and patience. Smiles and greets customers, learns customer names and uses them when possible. Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out‑of‑reach items, and loading/unloading heavy items. Answers telephone calls promptly and provides friendly, helpful service. Works with co‑workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment. Assists in other areas of the store as needed and performs other job‑related duties and special projects. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Less than six months of similar or related work experience. Ability to solve practical problems, perform basic arithmetic calculations, and follow verbal or written instructions. Ability to handle accidental and physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly. Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet, with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision. Physical Requirements Must be able to perform climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions. Work may be exposed to heavy physical effort, temperature extremes, and potential electrical shock. Working Conditions Exposed to dirt, noise, equipment movement hazard and chemicals/solvents daily. May encounter temperature extremes and potential electrical shock. Equipment Used Power jack, compactor, order machine, check register, forklift, scales, and Tomra machines. Compensation The anticipated hourly starting wage for this position is $15.00 to $18.75 depending on experience.
