Roll Operator (DAVI Plate Roll) - 1st Shift

Glencoe, MN | $25-$30/Hour | Flexible Start Time | Immediate Opening

We are seeking an experienced Roll Operator to join a growing fabrication team in Glencoe, MN. This position is responsible for operating a DAVI Plate Roll and forming heavy carbon steel plate into cylinders and custom fabricated components.

Pay & Schedule

• $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
• 1st Shift
• Flexible start time between 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM
• Full-time, long-term opportunity
• Overtime available

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a DAVI Plate Roll machine
• Roll carbon steel plate into cylinders and curved components
• Work with material thicknesses ranging from 14 gauge to 1-inch plate
• Manufacture 8-foot, 10-foot, and 14-foot cylinders
• Adjust machine settings to meet print specifications and tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Perform material preparation including grinding, beveling, fitting, and edge preparation
• Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Safely move and handle large steel components
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Experience operating a DAVI Plate Roll or similar plate rolling equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
• Experience working with carbon steel plate and heavy fabrication materials
• Knowledge of manufacturing tolerances and quality requirements
• Ability to safely lift, move, and position large steel components
• Strong attention to detail and safety

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glencoe, MN.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
