Pilgrim's wants YOU to join our Hatchery Team as a Hatchery Transfer Team Member! This position starts at $22.17/hour, plus $1.00/hour Shift Differential.

Position Summary:

The Hatchery Transfer Team is responsible for overseeing the Embrex process to ensure all functions of the job are done according to procedure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned

• Performs maintenance on Embrex equipment.
• Maintains spare parts inventory and monitors vaccine inventories.
• Set up and take down Embrex process equipment.
• Wash and sanitize Embrex equipment and incubators and rooms.
• Remove racks of eggs from incubators and load into Embrex machine.
• Place empty egg flats into farm racks.
• Place full racks of egg flats in washer and stage in holding area.
• Place full hatcher dollies of eggs into hatchers.
• Monitors machines and equipment for proper operation and document findings.
• Perform maintenance repairs as needed.
• Train others with the skills and knowledge gained from position.
• Equipment adjustments as needed and informs Leadership/Maintenance when equipment is deficient and unable to identify immediate action.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school education or equivalency.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for documentation purposes.
• Good mechanical abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work as a team.
