JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Patient Services Representative for a direct hire opportunity.
This resource will be responsible for general office functions that support patient care, including patient registration, insurance verification, and collection of applicable coinsurance and copayments. You'll also schedule diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answer phone calls. You'll greet patients when they arrive, manage wait times, and complete check-in and check-out tasks! You'll manage the cashier box and daily deposits, and process walk-in patients and visitors.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 1+ year of healthcare industry experience
• Strong administrative and operational support experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards
• Ability to manage schedules, staffing needs, and timecards
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Associate or bachelor’s degree (healthcare-related preferred)
• Familiarity with CMS, OSHA, Medicare, or other regulatory bodies
