United Clearing Services, founded in 2021, provides critical vegetation management, emergency restoration services, and right-of-way tree trimming to utility companies across Texas. We specialize in trimming, growth regulation, and vegetation mitigation around utility infrastructure to reduce the risk of damage from wind, rain, rot, and overgrowth. Our mission is to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-effective storm clearing solutions with a strong team-first approach.
We are currently hiring a Ground Person to support our field crews and assist in safe landscaping, line clearance, and grounds maintenance. This role requires dedicated teamwork, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to perform demanding physical work in the field.

Top Responsibilities:
- Set up work zone traffic control signs and safety cones
- Gather, drag, and feed brush and limbs into a trailer-mounted woodchipper
- Operate chainsaws safely to cut up tree limbs, brush, and small trees
- Scan for trip hazards and maintain clear, safe paths for the crew
- Service and maintain trucks, chippers, and equipment in clean, optimal working order
Work Environment:
- Full-time role with 10–12-hour shifts
- May require up to 7 days/week during storm season
- Heavy physical work requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, and squatting
- Weekend, holiday, and out-of-town travel availability required

Top Qualifications:
- 18+ years old with reliable transportation to and from startup locations
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and consistently wear required PPE
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain sharp attention during dangerous tasks
- Able to work on unlevel ground, traverse various terrains, and handle falling limb environments with protection
- Physical capability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 lbs infrequently and 10 lbs frequently
