Mulesoft Developer

Job Summary As a Mulesoft Developer in our Data Management & Insights department, you will be an integral contributor to the digital transformation of Volvo Cars USA, a leading disruptor in the automotive industry. You will be part of a team who is critical in the movement, storage, and use of data for multiple high visibility initiatives across the organization. Primary Responsibilities Collaborating with Business Analysts and other departments to gather/understand business requirements and translate requirements into technical designs Design and develop enterprise, reusable integrations using Mulesoft and Heroku Connect to meet the requirements of our business partners Test and improve APIs to ensure quality response time, reliability, correct record counts and data accuracy Actively participate in daily team scrum meetings to communicate progress and blockers Estimate the size of backlog items and translate backlog items into engineering design and tasks Set patterns and best practices for Mulesoft usage and development across the enterprise Key Competencies/Abilities Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field Ideally 3 years of development experience using Mulesoft Mulesoft certification and Salesforce integration experience preferred Hands on experience with MuleSoft’s iPaaS platform and API-First approach Good understanding of REST, MQ, JSON, XML, and SOA Experience in implementing API security Experience with databases and good SQL server knowledge Proactive written and verbal communication on project statuses and blockers Process oriented, great follow through skills, and attention to detail Comfortable adapting to changing business situations and priorities Knowledge of the below is a plus Emerging data technologies such as Azure cloud SSIS/Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools Automotive experience Agile based project development and Microsoft DevOps (or a similar tool) Heroku connect SSIS #J-18808-Ljbffr
