Elevator Technician

Organizational Relationships: Reports to the head of Operations. Position works with Install/Service Technicians, Lead Technician, General Contractors and Homeowners. Summary: Under the supervision of the Lead Technician, perform duties relating to the installation and maintenance of elevators and lifts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (duties may include, but not limited to) Delivers elevators/lifts to job site using company vehicles Assists to install and/or service elevators or lifts Moving and raising elevator components, using hoists, dollies or other equipment Provide daily job updates via email/project manager software Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order Responsible for a clean and hazard free work area Follow company safety guidelines Success Factors: Excellent attention to detail Prompt regular attendance Customer Focused Active listener Team Player Good Communication Skills, both verbal and written Working Conditions: Field environment, construction job sites, exposure to the weather, dust, grease, odors, noise and possible confined areas. Requirements Skills and Other Requirements: Mechanical Aptitude Must supply own basic tools Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record Schedule based on needs.
