Concrete Specialist and Sport Court Installer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Sports Court Installer to join our growing team. This position is responsible for the preparation, construction, finishing, and sealing of high-quality sports courts and concrete surfaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete work, leveling, rebar installation, forming, finishing, and applying sealers, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.

This role requires someone who is hardworking, team-oriented, and able to work efficiently in outdoor environments and on active job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and install sports court foundations and concrete surfaces
• Perform concrete sealing, curing, and finishing processes
• Build and set wooden forms for concrete pours
• Install and secure rebar and reinforcement materials
• Operate leveling tools and ensure surfaces meet grade specifications
• Cut and install grooves/joints in concrete as required
• Apply concrete sealers and surface coatings properly and safely
• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
• Read and follow project plans, measurements, and specifications
• Maintain a safe and organized job site at all times
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
• Work closely with project managers and crew members to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concrete installation, sports court construction, or related construction work preferred
• Strong knowledge of concrete sealing, leveling, curing, and finishing techniques
• Experience building wooden forms and installing rebar
• Ability to use construction tools and equipment proficiently
• Strong understanding of measurements, grading, and site preparation
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid drivers license preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday

Preferred Skills

• Experience with sports court surfacing systems
• Knowledge of concrete grooving and expansion joints
• Familiarity with sealers, coatings, and finishing products
• Equipment operation experience is a plus

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction environment
• Physical labor required, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Travel to local job sites may be required
