2nd Shift Manual MachinistWe are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist for a long-term opportunity in Sedalia, MO. This position will involve operating various machines and performing assembly work in a manufacturing environment. Training will take place on 1st shift before transitioning to the permanent 2nd shift schedule once the employee is able to work independently.Job Responsibilities:Set up and operate various machining equipmentPerform assembly and machine shop dutiesRead and interpret blueprints, process documentation, and specificationsUse calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify part qualityUse proper tooling and gauging to ensure parts meet specificationsMaintain accurate production recordsFollow established quality and safety standardsKeep work areas clean and organizedPerform medium to heavy lifting as neededRequirements:MUST have previous CNC operating experienceMust have experience using calipers and micrometersManufacturing and machine operating experience requiredStrong blueprint reading skillsGood understanding of shop math, measurements, and unit conversionsKnowledge of GD&T preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable and able to work independentlyAbility to perform medium to heavy liftingMust pass client background check requirementsTraining Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Training Pay: $18/hour Permanent 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-Midnight Pay After Transition: $20/hourLocation: Sedalia, MO Position: Long-term opportunityOther ways to applyCall 660-851-2323Visit us at 1313 W. 16th St. Sedalia, Mo 65301Benefits of working with Express:Medical benefits401KSafety incentivesTrainingScholarship opportunitiesWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
