Job Overview A law firm seeks an associate with 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory matters and/or energy-related litigation to join their Energy practice in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing abilities and have experience in the energy industry, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Duties Conduct insightful research and analysis on energy regulatory matters. Engage in energy-related litigation and represent clients before regulatory bodies. Collaborate with a high-performing team on complex and high-profile cases. Provide regulatory counseling and litigation expertise across the energy sector. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in energy regulatory or litigation matters. Experience with matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) preferred. Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to assume immediate responsibility and contribute to a collaborative team. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the bar, active and in good standing, or ability to waive in.
