Account Manager, Sales (Technology and/or Life Sciences)

Position Description:

RCM Technologies has an opening for an Account Manager. This individual will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and closing new business for RCM services that range from the traditional staffing model to our IT solutions (Capital Management, Managed Services, Application Development, SQA Testing, and Support). RCM's focus is Technology and Life Sciences (Pharma, Biotech, CxO's, and Medical Device).

Responsibilities:

• Develops and expands a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing
• Assesses client needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
• Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch services to clients
• Negotiates sales, discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
• Provides technical advice after sales
• Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
• Becomes fluent in all partnerships and services offered by RCM
• Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
• Gains familiarity with the Technology and Life Sciences industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
• Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years overall sales experience in Technology and/or Life Sciences
• 5+ years of sales in a Consultative environment (not looking for HW salespeople or individuals that have sold services bundled with a software sale).
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Independent starter and worker
• Demonstrates ability to follow through and complete assignments

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
