The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, including contract negotiation, construction litigation, claims management, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, including AIA and Consensus Docs agreements Represent clients in construction litigation, arbitration, and mediation Advise clients on construction claims, lien law, and defect disputes Assist clients with regulatory compliance and licensing issues Conduct risk analysis and provide proactive legal counsel on construction projects Collaborate with clients to develop effective strategies for resolving disputes Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Florida Bar (active and in good standing). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction law or a related field. Strong knowledge of Florida construction lien laws and industry regulations. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and litigation skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
