Senior Station Manager, RSR

This RSR station's operation will include the RSR+ operation which brings same day fulfillment to rural delivery stations* Key Job Responsibilities Responsible for overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations. Drive vision for station team and create quality initiatives, process change initiatives, and other lean initiatives to enable the functional area and the Delivery Station (DS) to meet and exceed business plan. Problem‑solve to close gaps between performance and goals. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for performance and their departments. Manage an environment concerning delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers, subject to ever‑rising volume and complexity, operating on a 24/7 basis. Manage day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). Present operational metrics regularly to senior leadership team. Hire and develop top talent. Create and implement a talent plan for the site, including talent acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement. Leverage the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into improvement plans for the functional area. Cultivate a strong culture and engagement throughout all levels of the delivery station team. Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the network. Work with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in the area, and provide needed support for other initiatives. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience. 7+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience, or experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes. 5+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience. 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience. Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations. Experience with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Experience managing third‑party resources on a regional/national scale. Experience leading large contingent workforce programs. Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working in a fast‑paced environment similar to a high‑tech start‑up. Experience working with changing priorities and schedules. Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field, or 8+ years of senior leadership development and talent management experience. The base salary range for this position is $135,000.00 – $182,700.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
