Contract | Days | Sunday–Thursday, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM | One weekend day required per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy evaluation and treatment to inpatient populations within a short-term acute care setting
• Manage patients requiring moderate to maximum assistance, including those on ventilators
• Perform co-treatments and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Adapt quickly to shifting caseload demands, including picking up additional evaluations throughout the day
• Adhere to facility quality and patient safety standards, including medication administration protocols (BCMA)
• Complete documentation and charting accurately using Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Arizona — required and must be in hand prior to start
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association — required
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Ability to work one weekend day per week (department operates 7 days a week)
• Comfort floating without restrictions, including to other units or affiliate facilities based on census and skill needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Generalist background with confidence treating a broad range of medical diagnoses
• Experience working with ventilated patients and managing high-acuity caseloads
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Ability to pivot efficiently and manage a dynamic, fluctuating caseload
