As a Member Services Associate, you'll connect people to programs, build meaningful relationships, and help create an environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcome members, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Assist with memberships, program registrations, and account transactions.
• Provide facility tours and help prospective members find the programs that best fit their goals.
• Promote YMCA programs, events, and community resources.
• Answer phones, respond to questions, and provide accurate information.
• Process transactions using Daxko and maintain member records.
• Support financial assistance applications while maintaining confidentiality.
• Help keep the Welcome Center clean, organized, and inviting.
• Work collaboratively with branch staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning new technology, including membership software.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Commitment to the YMCA's mission and core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
• Ability to successfully complete a background screening.
• Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification and complete required YMCA training before or shortly after employment, as required.
• Ability to work nights (5pm-9pm) and weekends.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking abilities are preferred, but not required.
