Massage Therapist

Forget Me Knot Massage & Bodywork is a busy, thriving small business in need of a full-time massage therapist to join the team.

This is a unique employee position, with opportunity for autonomy and space to create a personal connection with your clients. Employees may work some or all shifts as the only therapist on site. Strong management skills and communication are a must.

Shifts: 26-30 hours per week. Consist of 3-4 sessions, including 30 minutes of paid time between clients. Be able to work one weekend day/evening shift per week.

Wage:

• $40 an hour for sessions. $16 an hour for administrative duties.
• $500 bonus after the first 30 days. Paid out in monthly increments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet clients
• Guide clients through service offerings and determine which massages would benefit them most
• Provide 30-90 minute massages to clients by appointment
• Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire
• Process payments
• Complete SOAP documentation in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have Oregon massage therapy license
• Liability insurance
• Strong communication skills
• Strong management skills
• Ability to be flexible with schedule
