WordPress Developer

Role Description
Key Responsibilities: Complex Development (50%):
- Develop high-complexity WordPress plugins and features
- Build advanced Gutenberg blocks with complex interactions
- Implement critical integrations with external systems (Hilton Restful APIs)
- Optimize performance-critical code paths
- Resolve high-priority complex tickets
Technical Leadership (20%):
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance
- Participate in architecture decisions with Technical Lead
- Establish coding standards and best practices
- Lead technical discussions and problem-solving sessions
Migration & Integration (20%):
- Lead data migration efforts from.NET/MSSQL to WordPress/MySQL
- Design and implement integration adapters for external systems
- Ensure data integrity and validation during migrations
- Build migration tools and automation scripts
Quality & Documentation (10%):
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Document complex features and architectural decisions
- Participate in sprint planning and estimation
- Collaborate with QA Lead on testing strategies
