Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Lab Scientist! Job Description:
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical lab setting with blood bank experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- ASCP*
- ASCP MT
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license
- Skills Required:
- Geographical considerations for bacteria identification
- Mycobacteria culture
- Ova and Parasite Concentration and Identification
- Charting System: Paragon (Training provided)
- Floating:
- Expected to float in rotation with staff and in accordance with policies.
- ICU, DOU, and tele nurses may be required to float to Med/surg.
- Continuing Education:
- Complete Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses within 30 days of start date.
- Course costs:
- Fire Card: $50
- Assaultive Behavior: $80
- Compliance:
- RTO must be presented at the time of submission.
- No DUI background hits accepted.
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 2 years in specialty required.
- California license in hand.
