Job Summary

Wolfgang Puck Catering is seeking a Senior Café Manager to lead day-to-day pantry, catering, and café operations at our DataDog client location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming dining experience while balancing operations, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities.

You’ll oversee food services from open to close, ensuring a high-quality, efficient, and engaging experience for guests. This includes managing pantry and lunch services, supporting catering events, and maintaining strong operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring service runs smoothly from opening through close
• Manage pantry services five days per week, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness
• Lead lunch service for approximately 100+ guests three times per week, with support from an attendant, while actively assisting with setup, service, and breakdown
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hospitality, and sanitation in alignment with company and client expectations
• Support and execute catering events (approximately 1–2 per month)
• Manage administrative responsibilities, including:
  • Dining website updates
  • Menu signage and communication
  • Basic reporting and tracking (e.g., volume trends)
• Plan and help execute promotions and special café events
• Monitor and maintain cost controls and operational efficiency
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of team members
• Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing development opportunities
• Help schedule and assign daily tasks to ensure effective team performance
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in upscale food service or hospitality environments
• Background in supervising or leading teams, including scheduling and training
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to balance hands-on service with administrative responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and operational procedures
• Comfort using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Approximately 3–5 years of food service experience, with at least some leadership exposure
• ServSafe or Department of Health certification
