Quick Facts Location: Children’s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 02/28/2027 & 04/30/2027 (two separate assignments) Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday Hours per Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Ohio State Medical License, DEA, Board Certification/Eligibility in Anesthesiology Experience Needed: 2+ years preferred in pediatric anesthesia or relevant experience Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $390.00 Benefits Include: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide anesthesia services for neonatal to adult patients in a hospital-based setting, primarily in pediatric cases Supervise CRNAs as part of a care team model Collaborate with a supportive team of surgeons, nurses, techs, and practitioners Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures Assist in maintaining operating room readiness and anesthesia carts (no prepping required) Adapt to high-volume surgical cases while adhering to safety standards Contribute to FMLA coverage with minimal call responsibilities What You Need Ohio medical license and DEA registration Certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology (Board Certified/Eligible) At least 2 years of anesthesia experience, ideally in pediatric or hospital-based settings Comfortable supervising CRNAs and managing a busy OR schedule Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach About the Assignment Join a premier hospital in Dayton, Ohio, serving as a Level 1 Trauma Center with 14 ORs and a highly collegial team. The facility performs 50–60 surgical cases daily, providing opportunities for meaningful clinical impact across neonatal to adult patient demographics. The anesthesiology team is experienced, collaborative, and dedicated to delivering top-tier care. Please note, at time of acceptance, candidates will need to confirm internal credentials, provide necessary certifications, and complete fingerprinting for facility credentialing.
