Voice Recorder (Japanese + English)

Role Overview

Contribute bilingual Japanese language recordings that help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on producing reliable, real-world audio data and written feedback for an audio project. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Record yourself reading Japanese sentences from a stationary car or quiet office environment.
• Create specified background sounds, including seatbelt clicks, door openings, and vehicle indicator signals, while keeping the vehicle stationary and working safely.
• Follow detailed linguistic and technical instructions to produce consistent, dependable language data.
• Submit high-quality audio files and any required written feedback.
• Work remotely with project coordinators to resolve questions and incorporate project updates or feedback.
• Handle recordings and data submissions in line with confidentiality and ethical-use requirements.

Qualifications

• Native-level Japanese proficiency, with clear pronunciation and natural fluency.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Japanese and English at B2 level or higher.
• Ability to follow precise audio-quality and content specifications.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setting and managing assigned work.
• Strong attention to pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.

Work Terms

• Remote, independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
