Tamil Bilingual Expert for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI systems by applying your Tamil language expertise to real-world audio evaluations and written feedback. This remote contractor role focuses on assessing how naturally and accurately Tamil is spoken and generated. No previous AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and evaluate the speaker or model output for nativeness and fluency.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document clear, concise evaluations and detailed justifications in English, identifying relevant linguistic factors.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that support better Tamil language understanding and generation in AI systems.
• Complete assigned audio-review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Native-level Tamil proficiency, including strong spoken and written command.
• At least B2-level English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced language differences clearly and accurately.
• Experience in audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• A background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
