Tamil-English Language Evaluator for AI Training [Remote]

Help improve next-generation AI systems by evaluating Tamil audio for naturalness, fluency, and linguistic authenticity. This remote contractor role relies on your Tamil language expertise to provide high-quality, real-world feedback that strengthens AI understanding and generation. Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and assess the nativeness and fluency of speakers or model outputs.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Document clear, concise evaluations and detailed justifications in English, including relevant linguistic factors.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that help improve AI performance in Tamil language understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio-review work accurately and on time while maintaining high quality standards.

• Native-level Tamil proficiency, with strong spoken and written skills.
• At least B2-level English proficiency, including written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced language differences clearly and accurately.
• Experience in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic-assessment experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

• $30 to $65 per hour.
