Italian Bilingual Language Evaluator for AI Training [Remote]

Role Overview

Use your Italian language expertise to help improve next-generation AI systems through detailed evaluation of Italian audio. This remote independent contractor role focuses on providing high-quality linguistic input that helps models better understand and generate Italian. No previous AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to Italian audio clips and assess speaker or model-output nativeness and fluency.
• Evaluate pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Write clear, concise feedback in English that identifies relevant linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed reasoning for each assessment to support consistent, understandable results.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Share insights that support improvements in Italian language understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio-review work accurately, on time, and to a high quality standard.

Qualifications

• Native-level Italian proficiency, spoken and written.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above, including strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to explain nuanced language distinctions clearly and accurately.
• Experience in audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• A background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music or audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is an asset.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $30 to $65 per hour.
