Korean-English Linguist for AI Training

Role Overview Provide bilingual Korean-English linguistic expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. You will evaluate, generate, and localize Korean content, annotate language data, and supply culturally informed feedback that shapes how models learn, reason, and perform. This is a remote contractor role supporting a customer project. No prior experience in AI is required; domain language knowledge and practical linguistic skill are the priority. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and generate Korean language content for accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance. Analyze Korean text and spoken material to ensure natural usage and idiomatic correctness. Provide detailed feedback and linguistic annotations to improve AI language understanding. Translate and localize materials between Korean and English, prioritizing contextual meaning over literal translation. Collaborate with project participants to refine data collection and annotation processes. Contribute to the development of language guidelines and resources tailored for AI training. Participate in regular written and verbal communication to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices. Qualifications Native or near-native proficiency in Korean and advanced English language skills. Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related language field is preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with strong attention to detail in both languages. Demonstrated experience working with language data or performing content review in a professional context. Ability to provide constructive feedback and linguistic insight in a clear, collaborative manner. Familiarity with language technology, digital content platforms, or AI-driven projects is a plus. Strong intercultural awareness and sensitivity to nuances in Korean language usage. Required skills: communication, bilingual ability, linguist experience or equivalent language expertise. Work Terms Role type: Contractor. Location: Remote. No prior AI experience required; expertise in language is the primary requirement. Compensation Pay range: $65 - $98 per hour. Eligibility Must have native or near-native Korean and advanced English proficiency as stated above. This is a contractor engagement; applicants should be able to accept independent contractor terms.
