Korean Transcription Expert for AI Training [Remote]

Contribute high-quality Korean and bilingual Korean-English transcriptions that help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on producing precise, consistent language data and annotations that improve model learning, reasoning, and performance. You will work with project coordinators to meet quality standards and timelines. About the organization: micro1 is an AI data lab that converts subject matter expertise across domains into training data and evaluations for frontier models.

• Transcribe audio samples accurately and consistently, capturing Korean content and any English segments present.
• Review, edit, and proofread transcriptions for quality assurance, correcting errors and verifying linguistic accuracy.
• Annotate audio files with metadata and contextual notes required for AI training.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify instructions and stay aligned with evolving project specifications.
• Deliver completed transcription assignments on schedule and meet established quality benchmarks.
• Provide feedback on workflow, tool usability, and linguistic challenges observed during transcription work.

• Required skills: audio transcription, strong attention to detail, familiarity with AI training concepts.
• Native or near-native fluency in Korean, with advanced comprehension of spoken and written language.
• Professional experience performing audio transcription, especially where high accuracy is essential.
• Familiarity with common transcription tools or platforms is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to document issues and clarify ambiguities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Prior experience with AI training, data annotation, or language resource projects is a plus but not required. No prior AI experience is required to apply.
