Indonesian Bilingual Language Expert for AI Training

Role Overview

Help improve next-generation AI language systems by evaluating AI-generated Indonesian speech and providing linguistically informed feedback. This remote contractor role focuses on the quality, authenticity, and cultural appropriateness of Indonesian audio. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to and review audio clips for the nativeness and fluency of AI-generated Indonesian speech.
• Provide detailed written and verbal feedback on language accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, and authenticity.
• Assess the cultural and contextual appropriateness of language used in audio samples.
• Document observations clearly and thoroughly so they can support model improvement.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to discuss findings and clarify evaluation guidelines.
• Complete high-quality assessments within defined project timelines.
• Suggest improvements to evaluation frameworks based on linguistic expertise.

Qualifications

• Native-level Indonesian proficiency, including a strong understanding of regional dialects and cultural nuances.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English, with at least B2 English proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, analytical approach to language evaluation.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback on language and communication style.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment and meeting project requirements on time.
• Experience in translation, localization, linguistics, content moderation, or language quality assessment is preferred but not required.
• Interest in advancing AI-driven language technologies.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.

Compensation

• $60 to $65 per hour.
