Agri-Cover, Inc., an aftermarket automotive manufacturer is looking for an Information System Specialist in our Jamestown, ND location.Job SummaryResponsible for assisting in the planning, formation and implementation of procedures and best practices for user applications needs of the organization. This includes review and analysis of user functions and activities, evaluation of available resources and current systems, and proposing appropriate programs or systems.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare projects planning, documentation, go live.Supporting different versions of software. Reviews and analyzes organization business needs.Confer with users to evaluate requirements, discuss solutions and develop plan of approach.Analyze and design program logic, screen layouts, reports and testing criteria to support development of new or enhanced systems.Performs all aspects of systems design including project planning, testing and evaluation of new processes and implementation of new applications.Prepares program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applications.Conducts or coordinates user acceptance, performance stress, regression and integration testing - making changes and corrections as needed.Participates in structured walk-throughs and other activities to review systems and provide training and support.Performs ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programs.Identifies problems and develops appropriate solutions.Cross training with other Information Technology staff members in order to provide coverage as needed.Other duties may be assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP/Accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics CRM; SQL Server; Microsoft Access Database software; Microsoft Outlook Internet software; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.Must be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
