Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee the daily operations of a long-term care/skilled nursing facility in Frostburg, MD. The ideal candidate will be a strong healthcare leader with experience in facility operations, regulatory compliance, resident care, staff management, and quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the long-term care/skilled nursing facility. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements. Lead and support nursing, clinical, administrative, and support staff. Monitor resident care, safety, satisfaction, and quality outcomes. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives. Manage staffing, employee performance, and team development. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Monitor budgets, expenses, census, and overall facility performance. Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and inspections. Address resident and family concerns professionally and promptly. Promote a positive, respectful, and resident-centered environment. Qualifications Current Nursing Home Administrator license in Maryland or eligibility for Maryland licensure. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home administration. Strong knowledge of LTC/SNF regulations and compliance requirements. Proven leadership and team-management skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience Experience managing a skilled nursing or long-term care facility. Background in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and survey readiness. Experience with staff development and operational improvement. Knowledge of resident-centered care and long-term care best practices.
