ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2000 and currently lead a close-knit team of four. I’ve been with State Farm for more than 40 years, bringing decades of industry knowledge and experience to our customers and team. I’m a proud Indiana University graduate, married, and have one daughter. Outside of work, I enjoy volleyball and sports, gardening, attending concerts, and traveling.

Giving back and staying connected to others is important to me. I’m active in my church and involved with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, providing opportunities to serve and stay engaged with the community.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Manager for Rick Smith - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agent office departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
