Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for a full-time position for the 2026–2027 school year with school districts in the Seattle, Washington area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals seeking a school-based role in a collaborative educational setting.
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered, including:
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license issued by the Washington State Department of Health
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current NBCOT certification
- Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Compliance with all state and district background check and fingerprinting requirements
Typical responsibilities for this role include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students’ functional needs
- Developing and implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Providing direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
