Production Supervisor - Nights

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to help us oversee the daily operations of a manufacturing shift to ensure efficient production. As a Trex Production Supervisor, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to manage production goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role is a key member of our Operations team.

Responsibilities

Put safety first – Always! Lead and foster our "people first" culture. Safety Prioritization: Acts with a Safety-First mindset and champions a safety-centered culture. Ability to recognize and immediately correct unsafe conditions and behaviors. Conducts Root Cause and Counter Measure investigations if incidents occur. Acts courageously to resolve safety hazards quickly. Process Management: Think and act like an owner each day. Champions brand ownership through quality-centered execution. Ability to establish clear expectations for multiple roles. Experience forming routines that provide regular feedback to the team based on goals. Managing performance to expectations to reach operational targets through Key Performance Indicators. Drive Continuous Improvement based on feedback from the team. Experience adjusting daily production strategy based on budgetary requirements. Leadership Mindset: Proven leader who remains positive and approachable during high-stress situations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple levels of the organization. Makes independent, timely decisions based on available information. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment while managing multiple demands. Recognizing direct reports' abilities and strengths while cultivating talent. Experience developing high-functioning teams. Prioritizes employee engagement by building meaningful relationships. Drives specific actions that target improved employee engagement. Comfortable navigating and resolving employee conflicts as they occur. Administrative Acumen: Organizational skills to help maintain accurate timekeeping and absenteeism records. Proven ability to create a standard process or procedure. Ability to re-assign personnel based on business need. Participate in the hiring process as a direct people leader. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Span of Control: Responsible for leading 1-3 floor-level, hourly leaders. Supervisory responsibility of 10-15 hourly employees.

Experience

We are looking for leaders with at least 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is a plus. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Production Lead. Salary

Base Salary Range: $82,000 - $95,000 annually. The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual bonus, in addition to the base salary. At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
