Master Electrician / Potential Managing Partner

Piedmont Electrical Service is seeking an experienced Master Electrician who may be interested in more than simply running service calls or managing a crew.

We are looking for someone who has the technical ability to serve as a Qualified Individual, the leadership skills to help build a growing company, and the desire to potentially become a key part of its long-term future.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys residential and light commercial renovation work, takes pride in solving problems, communicates well with customers, and may eventually want a larger role in the success and direction of a business.

Piedmont Electrical Service is not production new construction. Our work consists primarily of residential and light commercial renovations, additions, repairs, upgrades, troubleshooting, and service work throughout Charlottesville, Albemarle, and the surrounding area.

Typical Work Includes:

• Service upgrades
• Remodel and renovation wiring
• Kitchen and bathroom renovations
• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Lighting installation
• Panel replacements and upgrades
• Exterior electrical work
• Coordination with other trades during active construction
• Project planning and oversight

Requirements:

• Master Electrician license and the ability to qualify as the companys Qualified Individual
• Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems
• Experience with renovation and remodeling environments
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
• Professional communication skills
• Valid drivers license
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes
• Knowledge of marketing and business growth
• Ability to lead, mentor, and grow employees
