Special Education Paraprofessional – Johnstown, PA
Location: Johnstown, PA
Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Contract: August 26, 2026 – June 3, 2027
We’re hiring Paraprofessionals for K–7 classrooms for the 2026–27 school year. Openings are available in Autistic Support, Emotional Support, and Life Skills settings.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting students with academic, behavioral, and daily living needs
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and routines
Providing individualized and small-group student support
Helping students build independence and social skills
Requirements:
Associate degree or higher, or applicable paraprofessional credential
No prior school or special education experience required
Reliable transportation
Must be comfortable working with students from diverse backgrounds
