Our client is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role will assist with daily field operations, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, scheduling activities, and quality control while partnering closely with the Superintendent and Project Management team.

Description

• Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Monitor project progress and support schedule execution.
• Help maintain site safety and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Perform quality control inspections and document project activities.
• Track deliveries, materials, and jobsite logistics.
• Participate in subcontractor and owner meetings as needed.
• Assist with inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout.
• Review plans and specifications to support field execution.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and daily logs.

Profile

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

• 3+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience on K-12, municipal, healthcare, or commercial projects preferred.
• Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to grow into a lead Superintendent position.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Candidates should possess strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to read construction drawings, maintain quality standards, and work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
