Client Services Consultant, Mainframe DevOps

Job Description A technology professional with skill and experience in DevOps Mainframe Operations Life Cycle Management. Displaying a broad range of disciplines, environments, and automation best practices within the automated operations practice, the candidate may possess highly technical experience in Endevor software. Familiar with Zowe as an interface for DevOps. The consultant provides assistance and recommendations to management and clients on automated operations topics pertaining to the architectural design and development of applied systems and software services. Additional capabilities such as REXX coding to enhance automation are required. Ability to travel to client sites is required. Primary Functions Analyzes Life Cycle Management data requirements and provides solution modeling and implementation. Reviews proposed solution plans for Endevor and related automated operations. Evaluates solution design, upgrade, conversion from other products and implementation approaches. Conducts hardware/software comparative evaluations related to Life Cycle Management. Troubleshoots technical solutions and provides post‑implementation support. Acts as a consultant in studying and recommending actions on a wide variety of technical areas regarding Life Cycle Management and DevOps. Communicates current innovations and trends in Life Cycle Management. Provides technical consulting and reference expertise, and implements or upgrades Endevor, builds processors, creates inventory structures and configures life cycle elements. Scripts or codes quick implementations to solve conversion from other products to Endevor. Technical Skills Understanding of Endevor concepts and practice. Implementation of Endevor Components, ACM, PDM, Security interface and Quick Edit. Proficient in REXX programming. Bachelor's degree preferred and 8+ years’ experience with Endevor. Firm understanding of Endevor processors and ability to create processor utilities such as program compilations and JCL checks. Familiarity with Changeman, ISPW, Librarian, Panvalet and other competitor products to Endevor is a plus. People and Communication Skills Listens to client requirements and organizes them into business needs and objectives. Provides written communication to project managers and customers regarding build and integration instructions, task status, and knowledge transfer. Follows a communication plan established by the project manager. Documents all aspects clearly and communicates project and task statuses in writing. Other Key Responsibilities Maintain deep knowledge of the Mainframe DevOps Solutions and their value to clients. Have thorough knowledge of the competitive marketplace. Articulate the value that products deliver to customer initiatives. Deliver technical presentations, demos, POCs, and RFx responses. Install and configure assigned products in customer environments. Identify client needs for all products in the CA portfolio. Partner effectively with Broadcom's internal and external partners. Collaborate with other technical experts to develop detailed specifications, as necessary. Demonstrate effective time management. Requirements Technical Bachelor's degree and/or up to 2 years of related experience or Master's degree. Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $59,000.00 - 90,000.00. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and agreements.
