Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary in nature.

Major Duties:

• Ensures that the medical research program not only meets federal oversight requirements but exceeds federal requirements to meet additional AAALAC accreditation standards.
• Works with members of the health care team that conduct and oversee medical research activities, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists and administrators.
• Manages technical aspects of budget maintenance, forecasting for multiple, unique research investigator accounts.
• Purchases specialized research supplies and equipment and maintains the research equipment inventory.
• Submits actionable contract packets for contract award.
• Coordinates to ensure Research positions are advertised, recruited and filled.
• Contract Officer Representative (COR) certification preferred.
