Director, Clinical Development (MD)

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and medical monitoring for one or more clinical trials in neurology and autoimmune disease
• Contribute to clinical study design and implementation, including early-phase and proof-of-concept trials
• Draft and review protocols, investigator brochures, clinical study reports, and regulatory documents
• Participate in investigator meetings, site engagement, and site initiation activities
• Support regulatory submissions and provide clinical input on health authority interactions

Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• 2-5 years clinical, scientific, or drug development experience in biopharma or healthcare
• Working knowledge of clinical trial design, protocol development, and Good Clinical Practice
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology preferred
• Experience with Phase 1, Phase 1b/2, or proof-of-concept studies preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, scientific rigor, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function effectively in cross-functional, matrixed team environments

Compensation: Bay Area: $261,375–$338,250; Other US Locations: $237,575–$307,450
