Surgical Technologist
This is a 13-week contract position.
40 hours weekly, with rotating shifts of 2-8s and 2-12s. Availability for weekends and holidays is required.
Join a dynamic team at a Level I Trauma Center, where you will be responsible for surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment. This facility has a total of 33 OR Suites, focusing primarily on outpatient cases, particularly on 2 West.
Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile field and proper instrumentation.
Collaborate with surgical staff to prepare for operations, including setting up the surgical area and handling surgical instruments.
Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with patient positioning during surgeries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the surgical area and equipment.
Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care as needed.
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or completion of a Surgical Technology program.
High School Diploma or Equivalent with two (2) years of previous scrub experience.
Basic Life Support certification (AHA) required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting with strong orthopedic, neurology, trauma, and robotic (DaVinci) experience is mandatory.
