Part-Time Dealership Driver - 3 Days Per Week

CarShop is seeking a dependable Part-Time Driver to transport vehicles between dealership locations and customer destinations while supporting our day-to-day dealership operations.

This position is ideal for someone looking for consistent part-time work, approximately three days per week, who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and being part of a team.

Schedule

• Part-time, under 1,000 hours per year
• Approximately 3 days per week
• 7-8 hour shifts
• Rotating Saturdays required
• This position is intended for someone seeking ongoing part-time hours rather than a full-time schedule

What You'll Do

• Safely transport vehicles between CarShop locations and customer destinations
• Drive a variety of makes and models
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely vehicle transportation
• Move and organize vehicles on the dealership lot as needed
• Operate all vehicles safely and in accordance with state and local laws
• Assist with general dealership tasks when needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable spending much of the workday driving.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• No major traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years
• Strong history of reliability and dependability
• Comfortable driving for extended periods, including highways and longer-distance trips
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles
• Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Professional and courteous when interacting with customers and dealership employees
• Must pass required background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving
• Ability to walk, stand, and move vehicles around the lot
• Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as required by the position
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including assisting with snow removal when necessary

This position works in a covered area but will also work outside at times and could experience heat and cold, hazards and noise

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
