ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my first agency in 2008 and expanded with a second office in 2025. Today, I lead a team of 12 across both locations. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked in Corporate Finance. I was drawn to agency ownership because I wanted to build my own business and have greater control over my future.

I'm a graduate of both the University of Delaware and Villanova University, married, and a proud father of three. Giving back is important to our team, and we're proud to support organizations including our local food bank and the Autism Society of Delaware.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Associate for Dan Dougherty - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our office through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
