At Bigham Cable Construction, as an Assistant Project Manager, youll be responsible for the sharing management over assigned projects and ensure the accuracy, completeness, safety, and profitability of each.

At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of the telecommunications industry; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

What youll do

Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or project;
Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance;
Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project;
Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project;

the ability to manage multiple projects to completion;

the ability to function effectively in a high-stress situation;

the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.

What youll need

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

Valid state drivers license (cannot be Provisional). Including an acceptable driving record

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience

Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience

Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks

Authorized to work in the United States

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check

Physical abilities & exposures

Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds
Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
