Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Technician (Statesville, NC) $25+ Depending on Experience, Resume must show tenure at past jobs with experience. Must have experience in industrial manufacturing setting to be considered. Industrial Maintenance Technician Hours: Must be able to work 12 hour shifts. 3rd shift 12 hour shifts. 223 Schedule.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Duties:

• Responsible for maintaining all converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.
• Practice safe work habits at all times.
• Demonstrate ability to parallel all rolls and make all required settings and adjustments.
• Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives.
• Demonstrate ability to use all aspects of the maintenance software program.
• Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule maintenance work.
• Follow up all work in order to insure repairs and work are performed properly.
• Help maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Previous corrugated experience a plus.
• Able to read and follow instructions.
• Able to read and follow instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurements, volume and rate.
• Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.
• Working knowledge or product layouts and production specifications.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration.
