Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans aligned with medical directives.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following protocols and safety guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and auxiliary staff to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license in the designated state.
  
  
• 
  BLS and ALS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency with Meditech EMR system preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to perform general surgical procedures such as EKG, Echo, Colonoscopy, and TEE.
  
  
• 
  Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented approach.
